Content Strategist

The Project – Music Discovery –  A full-time content design contractor is needed to support the Discovery arm of the newly solidified Music team of the Entertainment pillar of their App. With continued investment in the music space to be the next big Entertainment vertical for the app, the team is looking to grow and pursue aggressive growth goals to meet the demands of both listeners and the music industry. One aspect of the music experience that needs extra attention, and will be the purview of this contractor, is music-related discovery. There are several ways that people in the community may be introduced to music content, and we need to ensure that each of those experiences is optimized, communicated clearly, and intuitively understood.

Specifically, these projects will focus on:

Music-related notifications, Quick promotions and other in-product promotions, Music experience entry points, Music content sharing and Growth strategies. The content design contractor will be embedded with the product team and will be responsible for collaborating with several cross-functional partners to ensure a consistently rewarding user experience.

Ideal Candidate

Previous work as a content designer or content strategist; experience on growth projects a plus

Expert copy writing skills, with experience writing in-product content and promotions

Experience working with product designers, UX researchers, engineers, and product managers

Knowledge of internationalization/localization processes

Knowledge of user-testing methodologies, a plus

Knowledge or experience working on music products, a plus
