VP of Sales & Marketing C96 – US Remote

VP of Sales & Marketing, Localization Industry

Our client is a fast growing, 10 year young, $30M-plus Language Services Company, looking for a VP of Sales & Marketing to be part of a new executive team. The role will over see all Sales, Account Management & Proposal Writing teams, as well as Marketing & Communications.

Responsibilities, include but not limited to

  • Drive the company’s achievement of customer acquisition and revenue growth, ensure profitability through new business development, account management, and marketing operations, including competitiveness, pricing, compensation and distribution & channel strategy.
  • Develop and implement sales marketing plans that increase revenue, build awareness, improve profitability, and achieve growth objectives, by implementing and owning sales and marketing policies and programs for all products and services for the organization
  • Create a culture of success with business vision around the company’s products and implement high impact initiatives to achieve overall goals.
  • Complete quarterly business reviews
  • Define and implement an optimal employee structure, that enables the recruitment, development and growth of an “employer of choice” team that people want to join
  • Manage customer relations and expectations that contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction, retention and growth, through defined sales and account management processes that drive desired outcomes and identify improvements, as required
  • Establish an infrastructure to support the success of sales by building a detailed, accurate forecasting system and managing to sales and marketing budget
  • Develop and oversee execution of the marketing objectives, including market research, product planning, and advertising functions for all products and services and developing business plans and strategies to accomplish corporate objectives.
  • Be a leader in business intelligence – competition and market trends in both the commercial and government sales channels, etc

Desired Qualifications:

  • Start-Up Company mentality
  • BS degree business, MBA preferred, or related sales experience.
  • Five or more years’ in a sales leadership role and outside sales experience, with ability to sell at all levels of the business.
  • Experience selling in both Government & Commercial Sectors
  • Experience in M&A integration environments
  • Localization industry experience
