Localization Senior Project Manager C464 – Denver, CO

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Service Manager for our office in the Denver area. The main responsibility of this position is to help build the company by developing and improving service delivery processes, relationships and technologies for one of our clients specialized in the life sciences industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage translation and localization projects
  • Assume responsibility for quality of delivered work and drive quality strategies for assigned accounts
  • Work closely with vendor team(s) leading projects in order to improve our quality
  • Build strong relationships with clients and reviewers
  • Assume the role of primary client contact
  • Drive development, implementation and maintenance of PM procedures
  • Work closely with sales team to deliver products according to deadlines and clients’ specifications also to support the team in business development efforts with prospects and client referrals
  • Work closely with operational account management to set, drive and implement overall account strategy as well as delegating workload and tasks within project team

Requirements:

  • You have a completed university degree, preferably related to business management, finance or translation services.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing complex localization/translation projects
  • You have good communication skills (verbal and written), problem solving, troubleshooting, multi-tasking as well as prioritization skills
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and manage heavy workloads
  • You have a knowledge of software testing as well as image manipulation tools and applications for different platforms
  • You have strong technical abilities, especially in the areas of software localization, web publishing, DTP/pre-press
  • Knowledge of at least one CAT tool (MemoQ, Trados, SDL, WordBee, WordFast, XTM)
  • You have leadership abilities
  • You show strong affinity to and understanding of target audiences and cultural issues
