Business Development Director – FinServ/Banking

An overview of the responsibilities including, but not limited to:

* Research & identify new business opportunities and potential clients. Qualify and pursue leads providing effective solutions which meet or surpass client/prospect expectations, through presentations, face-to-face meetings/conference calls, etc., as appropriate

* Aid in responding to and crafting responses to RFPs/RFIs, as needed

* Maintain relationships with clients and prospects by educating, informing and guiding them in the early stages of the relationship and consult, draft and execute SOPs between Business Development and Operations for account management handling and transitional planning

* Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors, by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks

* Develop and implement plans and sales strategies to identify opportunities, and provide timely documentation of all sales activity in company CRM

* Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling language services or relevant sales experience selling business services into one or more key verticals; FinServ experience highly preferred.

* Ability to analyze and assess a prospect needs and subsequently articulate the value of our services

* Demonstrated success selling in a consultative/team environment & building new business within an existing vertical

* Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and  a team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, when needed

* Strong communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills required

* Proficiency in MS Office required; working knowledge of CRM software programs and G Suite

* BA/BS or equivalent working experience required
