Localization Business Development Manager Legal C579 – New York, NY

Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our sales team and help grow our company. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to generate leads, close sales, determine market pricing and overall help us to generate greater revenue. This position will grow with the business. We need someone capable of managing sales to reach our ambitious goals. This means translations sales experience, sales team management experience and knowledge of selling into law firms and corporate counsel’s offices.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role requires an individual with excellent sales hunting instincts and a solid knowledge of the translation industry and the legal industry. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Research and pursue RFP opportunities
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Responsible for calling on and closing sales with new and existing customers, including cold calling and direct marketing activities
  • Represent company at translation industry and sales events to generate leads and promote the company
  • Retain and grow revenue and account share
  • Generate daily outreach efforts to prospective clients
  • Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process
  • Responsible for client satisfaction throughout the life of a relationship
  • Understand the translation industry and competitive landscape and help management to develop strategic plan
