Localization Business Development Manager Financial Services C703 – Remote

Drive revenue growth in the Financial Services Division by identifying leads and selling translation and localization services to prospective clients.

Duties and/or responsibilities of this position:

* Research & identify new business opportunities and potential customers

* Pursue prospects or leads identified and/or as assigned by management

* Communicate with prospects to identify appropriate contacts and qualify leads

* Advise, guide and provide effective solutions which meet or surpass client/prospect expectations

* Provide cost estimates/proposals with delivery timeframes on a case-by-case basis and close opportunities

* Draft and prepare presentations for face-to-face meetings/conference calls as needed

* Aid in responding to and crafting responses to RFPs/RFIs as needed

* Maintain relationships with clients and prospects by educating, informing and guiding them in the early stages of the relationship

* Consult, draft and execute SOPs between Business Development and Operations for account management handling and transitional planning

* Meet assigned target quotas for activity and sales

* Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors

* Maintain quality service by enforcing organization standards, as well as providing recommendations on improving standards

* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks

* Develop and implement plans and sales strategies to identify opportunities

* Provide timely documentation of all sales activity in company CRM

* Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel reports

* Improve customer retention through programs and service provided to the customer

* Maintain working knowledge of all company services, while providing insights into trends and/or client feedback to management

* Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance

* Manage assigned workload including setting goals, prioritizing work, evaluating results and taking corrective action as needed

The company’s sales and acquisition focus is centered on high value-added fields: legal/IP, financial services, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing

 

Skills/Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience selling language services or relevant sales experience selling business services into one or more key verticals; FinServ experience highly preferred.

* Ability to analyze and assess a prospect needs and subsequently articulate the value of our services

* Demonstrated success selling in a consultative/team environment & building new business within an existing vertical

* Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and  a team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively when needed

* Strong communication (written/verbal) and organizational skills required

* Proficiency in MS Office required; working knowledge of CRM software programs and G Suite

* BA/BS or equivalent working experience required
