Localization Sales – Growth Role, WFH

My client is a highly successful language services provider (LSP) offering services to both corporate and governmental enterprises. They are now actively  growing their sales team and looking for a Junior sales person, such as an inside sales, business development rep, sales operations, etc. person, ready to step up into a Business Development Manager role. This BDM role will be focused on national and multinational corporations with multilingual sales needs.

This role is for the less experienced but highly motivated sales person, who is ready to demonstrate they have the skills and knowledge to take the next step in their career. Some experience in the Language Services industry is required. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the VP of Sales, research, manage and lead sales activities to generate new revenue, by understanding potential clients needs, presenting our competitive advantages and closing deals with existing and new clients
  • Continually educating yourself about the industry: competitors, products, services, verticals, etc. –  in order to influence our target marketing activities
  • Stay on top of client expectations and work closely with Operations to manage client/project expectations, and to proactively address issues before and as they arise
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth on-boarding of new clients
  • Along with following up with corporate generated leads, create and implement social media marketing campaigns that produce individual specific leads for follow through, that could be developed from attending conferences, trade-shows, using business generated advertising lists, etc.

Primary Requirements

  • 1+ years of full life cycle sales or sales-related experience in the Language Services Industry, with consultative sales experience preferred and a proven record of success
  • Excellent communications, time management, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal and attention to detail skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
