Localization Business Development Director- Life Sciences or Finance preferred

Our client is one of the fastest growing multilingual Language Service Providers with offices around the world.  They offer a full suite of localization support services in over 120 languages.

The company is looking to add several BDDs to it’s growing US Sales Team.  With an existing worldwide customer base and a strong reputation across numerous industries, individual sales people with some previous Localization Sales experience in either one of these verticals are highly desired. Don’t have one of these verticals?  They are open to Localization sales experience across any and all other verticals.

Responsibilities:
The sales expert will be responsible for developing a new client acquisition strategy, pursuing and winning new business, and for developing longer-term strategic relationships in the respective market.

• Grow revenue and meet/exceed annual sales quota, by building a pipeline through activities including desk bound research, cold calling, attending events, networking, and more.
• Qualify opportunities and drive the sales process through to closure by understanding the client’s business challenges and recommending solutions to address those challenges by clearly articulating the company’s capabilities, strengths, and differentiators and working with various internal resources (solution architects, project managers and operations) to present such solutions
• Manage and client relationships and identify upsell opportunities, negotiate contracts ; develop and implement territory plan and own sales pipeline

Requirements:

• 2+ years of sales experience in Language Services
• Bachelor’s degree in Language, Business, Marketing, or any relevant discipline or equivalent
• Strong experience in business development and portfolio management in one or more specific industry vertical
• Great communication and organization skills
