Localization Business Development Director Finance C849 – Remote

This fast growing, off-shore LSP is ranked as one of the top 50 Language Service Providers (LSPs) in the world. With an expanding US presence, it is looking for several Business Development Directors to join their team. Particular interest is placed on LSP Salespeople with Financial Services domain experience.

Are you a globalist, entrepreneurial, and a team player? This role is key to our growing North American success. You will be responsible for developing a new client acquisition strategy, pursuing and winning new business, and for developing longer-term strategic relationships in the respective market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and meet/exceed annual sales quota, by building a pipeline of prospective clients, and qualifying and closing accounts through various Sales activities.
  • Using a consultative sales approach, understand your clients’ challenges and propose solutions by presenting our company’s strengths and differentiators, working with our internal teams, to address those challenges.
  • Manage your client relationships intimately, to build credibility, ensure retention, and identify upsell opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts, develop and implement territory plans, own your pipeline, manage opportunities, and provide regular update on opportunity status and sales forecast

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Language, Business, Marketing, or any relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in Language Services or related industries
  • Strong experience in business development and portfolio management in Financial Services domain
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex project requirements and multi-task, with excellent organizational skills
