Our client is well aware of the impact their language services solutions have on companies that want to succeed in the global marketplace. But they have aggressive growth goals so they’re seeking a qualified Business Development Director to extend their reach. In this high profile role, you will initiate sales opportunities with targeted clients to develop new business relationships.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while identifying, pursuing and closing sales for the entire suite of services. The individual should have experience in consultative sales with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to industry firms and corporations.

Description
• Source and close new clients through email marketing, cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process
• Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service
and engaging them by using knowledge of each industry and organization
• Formulate a sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Generate daily outreach efforts (direct mail, digital marketing, cold calls) to prospective clients
• Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of services
• Present company solutions via online meetings.
• Set and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices
• Manage and control pricing and contractual issues

Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university
• At least 3-7 years of sales experience
• Sales life cycle experience—from lead generation through business closing
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Ability to manage and develop a team
• Ability to travel for qualified business opportunities and trade shows
