Localization Business Development Associate or Manager
My client is a growing Language Services company providing comprehensive localization and translation services for Games, eLearning, Web, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Software, Multimedia projects and more. They help to empower our clients to grow globally through a combination of strategic vision, industry-leading tools and practices, top-flight linguist talent, cultural savvy and a deep focus on customer needs.

Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
The Business Development Associate/Manager (BDA or BDM) will work independently and in close coordination with the VP of Global Sales to win customers in the areas of digital games, eLearning, talent development, training, and in creative and educational products and services. The BDA/M guides new accounts through the company’s business development processes to achieve made-to-measure solutions that result in lasting clients and advocates.

  • Reach out to researched, qualified and well-targeted new clients using email marketing techniques and operate as the lead point of contact for expanding business activities with existing clients.
  • Manage each step of the quoted project in the pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of the quotes/solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Record all sales activities in the CRM
  • Design solutions for new clients’ language service needs by working with the client and internal production staff to create the best processes for the client and our company
  • Forecast and track key account metrics for reports and internal monthly and quarterly projections.
  • Write proposals and RFP responses for corporate clients.

Experience:

  • Some exposure (Internship to 3 years) to translation and localization services industry, including industry tools (CAT, TMS), processes and trends.
  • Language Services or related industry sales experience (B2B)
  • Experience with full corporate sales life cycle (lead generation to close and beyond) of large corporate/long-term deals
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce ActiveCampaign, Zoominfo, Engage)
  • Native or near native English written and oral proficiency is a must, with excellent communication skills
  • History of successfully meeting and exceeding sales target
