Sales Executive – Localization (NYC or LA, SaaS, AI)

This role is for the Localization Sales Executive with knowledge in or a keen interest for AI technology and how it’s changing Machine Translation technology in the Localization industry.

My client is a well funded SaaS, startup already building a client base. This executive level role is the US-Sale position for the company today.  You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing leads,  You will close new business, resulting in successful, profitable and long-term customer relationships.

To start, you need a strong background in the Localization industry, accompanied by knowledge and a keen interest in Machine Translation and AI technology. You must be the consummate sales hunter: very well organized and driven to uncover new leads, able to build strong customer relationships and a closer.  A strategic thinker, able to imagine new uses for AI tools for localization and translation that will help companies and LSPs solve problems that will help them grow their business.  You must thrive on building things from scratch, solving problems and working in an environment of rapid change.

Responsibilities, include but not limited to:

  • Research and identify high quality leads and pursue them to a close, by engaging closely with prospective clients through meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Understand our product features, service offerings and solutions, in order to effectively engage with prospects, uncovering business opportunities and pulling in company resources to support sales, as needed
  • Exceed agreed sales and revenue goals
  • Stay connected to the globalization industry and market trends, especially as it relates to Machine Translation and AI, through reading, conferences, training, client discovery, competitive analysis, and conversations with your peers across the industry


  • Highly self-motivated, hunter-driven, results-oriented sales executive from the Localization industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Very strong prospecting skills, working with lead generation and CRM software.
  • Not easily intimidated, great communicator
  • 5+ years Senior or Executive level Localization sales,
  • Management experience a plus, but not required
  • Remote role, however NYC or LA locations are highly preferred
