Localization Account Manager or Project Manager C65 – Long Beach, CA

My Client is looking for a full-time transcreation/localization account manager to work out of our office in Long Beach, CA.

We are looking for a skilled linguist with excellent English, must have professional native fluency in at least one other language, a keen eye for detail, and the multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-moving environment, with at least 2-5 years of experience in localization project management.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as are a methodical approach and the ability to keep cool under pressure.

The right candidate will work on several big-name accounts based on the West Coast.

The main focus of the role is managing translation projects. You will oversee work in many languages (often at the same time) and manage relationships both with clients and copywriters/translators. A good telephone manner and familiarity with modern office software are essential. Experience in CAT tools are a plus.

In addition, you will at times review and edit translations produced by our copywriters in your native language.

All our staff are linguists. So, it is important that you are fluent in English and at least one other language. Any further languages would be a bonus.
