The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business development and growing existing clients in the Life Sciences vertical in the Benelux region.  You are an industry expert, who researches and stays up to date on industry trends, attending events, reading industry publications and following the competition closely.  You bring your analytical skills to bear when you examine market strategies and deal requirements.  You employ keen negotiation strategies, keeping in line with customers’ needs and goals and presenting ways to integrate new opportunities while evaluating potential risks.
You will:

  • Sell products by establishing contact, developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; develop and negotiate contracts; and integrate contract requirements with business operations.
  • Own the execution of Strategic Account Plans for assigned accounts.
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

You have:

  • Experience using CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong work ethic and self-motivation; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Located either in The Netherlands or Belgium and speak Fluent English, Dutch and French.
