About the role:

The main responsibility of this position is to help build the company by developing and improving service delivery processes, relationships and technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and delegate day-to-day project tasks to assigned service managers/coordinators.
  • Operationally responsible for more complex customer orders/quotes, acting as the primary triage for three channels of types of client.
  • Work closely with sales team to deliver products according to deadlines and clients’ specifications also to support the team in business development efforts with prospects and client referrals.
  • Assume responsibility for quality of delivered work and drive quality strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with vendor team(s) leading projects in order to improve our quality, efficiency and execution.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and reviewers.
  • Own customer satisfaction.
  • Assume the role of primary client contact, including successful new client onboarding.
  • Drive development, implementation and maintenance of PM procedures.
  • Reporting of KPIs and budget data.
  • Work closely with operational account management to set, drive and implement overall account strategy as well as delegating workload and tasks within project team.
  • Contribute to employee performance management and provide proper feedback.
  • Ensures service project planning and identification of full compliance with the service management workflow and methodology.

REQUIREMENTS

Profile:

  • You have a completed university degree, preferably related to business management, globalization, internationalization, culture or language.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience managing complex localization/translation projects.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • You are familiar with selling methodology.
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience in operational service/project management processes and methodologies.
  • You have good communication (verbal and written), problem solving, troubleshooting, multi-tasking as well as prioritization skills.
  • You have strong leadership and organizational skills, are able to manage teams effectively, and promote the mentorship and encouragement of skill development within team members.
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and manage heavy workloads.
  • You have a knowledge of software testing as well as image manipulation tools and applications for different platforms.
  • You have strong technical abilities, especially in the areas of software localization, web publishing, DTP/pre-press.
  • Knowledge of at least one CAT tool (MemoQ, Trados, SDL, WordBee, WordFast, XTM).
  • You show strong affinity to and understanding of target audiences and cultural issues.
  • Language skills: excellent knowledge of English required, additional languages are an asset.
