Spanish speaking Project Coordinator M288 – New York, NY

Our Fortune 1000 vendor is looking for a native Spanish speaker to do linguistic review, coordinate projects and interface with the marketing team.  Candidate should have strong translation and editing experience as well as project coordination knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organization and execution of projects
  • Maintaining Translation Memory and Glossary files
  • Support estimate analysis and preparation
  • Conducting Quality Control checks on projects and proofreading as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • College degree (BA, BS) and/or degree in Translation/Interpretation or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Proficient computer skills (MSOffice applications and DTP applications)
  • CAT tool experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills along with the ability to prioritize under pressure
  • Commitment to professional customer service
  • Minimum 2-years prior experience in translation and project coordination.
